We will retain and evaluate information on your recent visits to our website and how you move around different sections of our website for analytics purposes to

Non-Personal Data
Like most websites, we gather general, non-personal information on our visitors for statistical purposes. This cannot be used to identify or contact you. This might include your IP address, the browser you use and similar anonymous data.
By default, WordPress does not collect any personal data about visitors, and only collects the data shown on the User Profile screen from registered users. However, Linux and Blacknight Solutions do allow us to keep track of these types of data.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profiles. Where we send your data
Aphasia will never sell any personal data you submit to us to a third party.
Non-personal information may occasionally be used to compile statistics that may be shared with others, e.g. the number of visitors to the site, etc.
Some areas of the site, such as the email newsletter or sections involving online payment, depend on applications or software built by trustworthy, reputable third parties. These third parties are bound by similar privacy and data protection requirements as Aphasia.

How we protect your data

Our website is hosted by Linux and provides an array of data security. Linux has Linux has clearly defined privileges at multiple levels, thereby restricting access as well as protecting data. It ensures strict file system discretionary access control keeping your data under strictly limited access. Those who have access are trained in data protection and management to ensure proper protection.
What data breach procedures we have in place
In the event of a system breach, an internal reporting system and security audit will be carried out to identify the breach. In addition, those who may be affected or at risk will be contacted.
